Kris Kross will make you jump jump

In preparation for our trip to Europe in a month, we've been trying to get some gear to help us travel with minimal effort. We haven't traveled overseas with kids before, so we're trying to anticipate every sticky situation and be prepped for it. One example is we anticipate we'll be walking alot, because that's what you do on vacation, especially if you don't have a car and you want to explore a new city. We also will be walking extensively on cobblestone and brick streets so bringing a stroller might not be a great idea. Our thought was to bring a hiking backpack and bring Elinor along with us on our back. So Chris bought the Osprey POCO Ag Plus for our trip.

So what does that all have to do with me jumping in front of a lake? Well, that was my excitement at getting to test out our new baby/toddler hiking backpack on a hike. We traveled up to the Brainard Lake area and hiked up to Left-hand Reservoir. It was a huge success (other than Chris got a terrible sunburn and Elinor like the pack so much, she didn't want to walk).

And then we got to jumping...

That beach was thoroughly photographed.  :)

I hope you all have a wonderful week!
