adventures in northern california

I finally got our travel video completed for our Northern California trip! This time around I wasn't as focused on filming everything, but I still managed to get about 8 minutes of content. Enjoy!

a travel vlog of a family of 12 visiting Europe

WAY back in 2017, our family went on a trip together to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Bruges, Brussels, and London. We had a great time together sightseeing and enjoying each others company. I made a little video to remember our time in Europe. I hope you all enjoy it too!

Also, here are a few links to some of the sites we visited.

a travel video: Southern California

Today I wanted to share our travel video from our trip to San Diego and Southern California.

I must say, posting this on the first day of the work week makes me really not want to be at work. Oh well, hope you all have a good Monday!

This is the third video I've made lately and I'm really enjoying the whole process! Chris and I filmed some stuff as we went hiking a couple weeks ago. I'll be honest, I have a totally newfound respect for videographers and producers, it's tough work! I kept trying to think of other videos I had seen to get inspiration.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We had a little bit more excitement than I would like. We have a large irrigation canal that runs behind our house and on Saturday night it broke! And by broke, I mean it dumped all of its water out a huge, gaping hole right above our property. While luckily it went down a little ravine adjacent to our home, it did manage to wipe out the road to our culdesac. I snapped probably way too much footage yesterday (find me on snapchat @sportschiq). And here is a little article in our local newspaper about it. My husband also took some drone footage of it (see it here).

Have a wonderful week!

Here's a little video I put together of our recent trip up into the mountains to go fishing. I hope you all have a good weekend and hug and kiss your loved ones a little bit extra too.
